In conjunction with clinical care, Metrocare’s Altshuler Center for Education & Research is transforming the community mental health landscape of North Texas through workforce development focused on innovative partnerships and exceptional trauma-informed training.
The Board-Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) is an undergraduate-level professional certified in behavior analysis who delivers behavior-analytic services under the clinical supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). The BCaBA will utilize Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques based on scientific literature to develop programming and monitor individual served cases. The BCaBA will maintain, update, analyze, and ensure the correct implementation of ABA techniques with children with autism spectrum disorder or other Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. The BCaBA will be responsible for behavior assessments, skills assessments, parent training, program development, behavioral intervention, and training of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
